No Bake Blueberry Yogurt Cake
On Monday I vowed to myself that I would not make another dessert this week. I had witnesses too. There was still enough ice cream in the freezer to keep us going for the next couple of days. Moreover, we’re finally heading off to the seaside this weekend so we really need to empty the fridge and there’s no point in making desserts at a time like this, right? Right.
That was on Monday. On Tuesday I went to the shop to buy just a few basics, you know the usual stuff like milk, yogurt, some apples. I got home with blueberries instead. It’s not that they didn’t have apples. I just suddenly started craving blueberries. I had to buy them even though I knew right at that very moment that I would eventually break my promise and make some sort of a blueberry dessert.
Two hours later I had this cake chilling in my fridge.
I have nothing to say in my defense. The spirit was willing but the flesh was weak.
So, now we have both this cake and ice cream to finish before we leave for our vacation, where we’re supposed to get into our swimming suits and look decent. Yeah, right.
Now we can only hope that I won’t get inspired by fruit for for the rest of the week.

divno!
Predivna fotka i recept. Volim deserte koji se ne peku!
PERFECT! :-)
what an absolutely beautiful blog you have out here!! i can’t seem to find a way to subscribe to your posts by e-mail.. i wish you would put that.. it would be easier for some of us to follow you by that option! thanks!!
Hi there! Thank you so much! I’m really happy you like my blog and the recipes. The blog was just launched ten days ago and some features are not up yet, but will be in a matter of days. Thanks for pointing out the e-mail subscribtion. I’ll make it happen in a day or two and I’ll send you an e-mail when that happens.
Hvala Nevena. Baš si pogodila, totalno je light i fluffy :)
Oh my gosh!!! This is such a fantastic dessert. I would love to try this sometime. I am bookmarking this recipe and following your blog as well :)
Nandita, thanks so much! I’m really glad you like the cake. I hope you’ll make it sometime. If you do, please let me know what you thought about it. :)
this looks beautiful, and so refreshing! I don’t blame you for making it :)
Thanks Megan. On the plus side, it really is light and low-fat so I don’t feel too bad either :)
you say fold in the whipped cream- did you whip the cream first, or not? I was unsure. Thanks, looks great!
Hi Nicole! Yes, you have to whip the cream first and then I fold it in. I’ll change that in the directions to make it clear. Thanks!
This looks to die for! I don’t know that I’ve ever seen such an elegant no-bake cake! So nice to not have to use the oven in the summer!
Thanks Alicia! This is a great dessert for summertime when it’s just too hot to bake.
Prelepa torta i fotografije!
Pozadina me oduševila…
Ostavljaš nas bez teksta u zadnje vrijeme, mislim, i inače!
Stalno dobivam nove ideje i neizmjerno uživam.

Your pictures are beautiful and the cake is, too!
isprobano i više nego jednom!
nestane dok ne kažeš keks!
prefino!
My programmer is trying to persuade me to move to .
net from PHP. I have always disliked the idea because of the
expenses. But he’s tryiong none the less. I’ve been using Movable-type on various websites for about a year and am concerned about switching to another platform.
I have heard excellent things about blogengine.net. Is there a way
I can transfer all my wordpress content into it? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
